What chemicals or products are in your workplace? Are you fully prepared for an OSHA visit? This fast-paced, one-hour class will directly affect the business’ bottom line! The instructor will help participants learn the specific details of OSHA’s Hazard Communication Standard such as policy and procedures, chemical inventory, Safety Data Sheets, employee training, and periodic follow-up. Attendees will receive immediately useful insights and tips that will keep their business well within compliance and better prepared for a surprise visit.

Learning Objectives

  • Understand key elements of OSHA including, Safety Data Sheets, OSHA Standardized Format, pictograms and labeling
  • Identify the training requirements for the workforce
  • Identify strengths and vulnerabilities of their own internal policies and procedures
  • Identify chemical hazards in the workplace

About the Instructor

Dave Reynolds

Dave Reynolds has more than 15 years of experience in the health and safety industry. He is a certified instructor for CPR/AED/1st Aid, American Red Cross and American Safety and Health Institute, OSHA 10 and 30-hour trainer in Construction and General Industry Safety and Health. He helps clients reduce workplace injury, isolate and control risk, and create and administer effective and efficient workplace policies and protocols.
