With 6.2 Million open jobs in the US economy, employers are struggling to fill their job openings. Leading organizations are renewing their focus on employee development and succession planning to attract and retain top talent that will lead their organizations into the emerging market.

This course will explain how to determine what percentage of placements should come from internal promotions versus external sources as well as equipping learners with talent mapping tools, and cost-effective employee development systems. We will also discuss the difference between succession planning and contingency planning, and teach leaders how to mitigate risk in their contingency planning efforts.

We want you to have a valuable experience in these sessions. To that end, class size is limited so in-depth discussion and learning can occur.

About the

Jeff Lincoln

Jeff has been trouble-shooting under-performing teams and business units for Fortune 500 companies and small businesses alike for over 20 years. Each team had one thing in common, disengaged members. It was with a passion for seeing businesses win while their employees find fulfillment in their careers that spurred the onset of Lincoln Consulting. Training, coaching, facilitating and advising clients toward engagement models that drive profitable growth is what Jeff likes to do. To that end, Lincoln Consulting enjoys helping clients gain the very best out of their teams.

Lincoln Consulting works with a large variety of teams in every segment of the Alaskan economy. The focus is not to get everyone to “feel good” about their jobs but to get the team passionate about winning and succeeding. Jeff and his team don’t consider it a win until “employers and their team members collaborate, grow and win together.”
